RunNat 2012

A new year has dawned upon us and already there is much to pray for. World economies face uncertain short to mid term instability given the Euro crisis that has yet to be resolved. The Mid East is still undergoing change. Some nations being rebuilt while others only now beginning to feel the effect of the Arab Spring. We in Malaysia are faced with an imminent election that could take place at any time though we in RunNat feel it will be later rather than sooner (elections must be held by March 2013).

Yes, there is much to pray for. There is also much to do. Since last year RunNat has adopted a dual- pronged strategy to its activities-prayer and community service. Through the introduction of RunNat GRACE we raised close to RM50,000 for 16 poor and needy families in KL. We intend to push through with this journey of blessing communities.

In our moments of contemplation we have looked at the last few years to see where we have been. We see the fingerprints of God in so many things and we are forever grateful for what He has shown us. We truly believe that we experience God when we get involved where we see Him at work! 2012 will see RunNat go 2 steps further.

In March we will organise our first ever Leadership Conference. It’s important that leaders of RunNat in different cities move forward together as one. It will be a time of listening, sharing and praying together.

In June we will host a RunNat Camp aimed at youth and young adult with the purpose of discipling a generation of nation-builders.

On top of that we will organise a Run for Sabah in August in conjunction with the 40-Days Fast & Pray and to commemorate the Jubilee Year of Malaysia Day.

RunNat Day will be held on the 6th of October in the different capital cities of Malaysia and elsewhere around the world.

So get ready for an exciting year of prayer, discipleship and community engagement. Here’s to 2012!

See you at the Finish Line!

Victor Chua
